LAMDA is the oldest drama school in the United Kingdom.  Founded in 1861, it established itself as a centre of excellence in performance training.  LAMDA provides theatre and the world of film and television with generations of first class actors/actresses and expertly trained stage managers.

LAMDA is the largest Speech and Drama awarding body in the UK.  LAMDA have a reputation for excellence throughout Europe, the Far East, Africa and the United States.
Pupils at Starlight can commence the LAMDA syllabus from as young as 5 years of age.

All LAMDA examinations are accredited as an awarding body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority ( QCA ).
